Arrival

We're here! After over 41 hours of travel, our team is settled on campus at Benguet State University campus housing. Let's just say it's not the Hilton, but my teammates have incredible attitudes, so we should be fine:)

Traveling went very smooth- all our transitions went well, and our needs were also provided for. My teammates did a great job interacting with people on the plane.

My 2 favorite travel stories included getting on our first plane- we had many boxes to check (and only had to check our luggage one time!) It was 5 am at O'hare, we had been waiting about an hour and a half for the check-in counter to open. In front of the check-in counter directly in front of where we were sitting, a sign was placed- Passengers to Manila:) I also enjoyed traveling with a family of 5 who had a 3, 4, and 5 year old. The kids did AWESOME on the flight. I can't wait to travel with kids someday.

Well, my team is grocery shopping and I should go check on them. Thanks for the prayers, they're working!! I love it here, it's a combination of China and Brazil, my 2 favorite places It's tropical with Asians:)

Love
Steph
