We spent our weekend developing our proposal for ministry, preparing to sing and singing in church for Sunday, and getting a few more supplies. We spent some time interacting with students playing sports. I played some vball, although it is not very common here. I had about 10 kids around me, an amazing experience.
We also ate our first Filipino meals, one cooked by Cris, the campus minister here, and one in a restaurant. The weather has been incredible (70s and 80s:) It rains everyday in the afternoon, but not for a long.
We have a mountain in our backyard, and after a few days here, Brady (teammate) and I couldn't take it anymore so we climbed it yesterday!
As we gear up for our first week in ministry, I am getting ready to do our devo. Please pray for us as we will be presenting our proposal this week, and for boldness and courage to go make new friends:) Thanks!
