Father's Day

Today I am thinking of my Dad and what an example of service he has been to me in my life. My dad relentlessly serves his family. Growing up, he made sacrifices to allow me to follow my dreams. In high school, he drove me hours away on the weekends to play club volleyball because I wanted to play in college. He woke up early to make me pancakes on track meet days. He drove me through bad storms to get me to my plane when I went to China. Currently, he and my mom have my Labrador retriever for 2 months. If you know Molly, she's sweet but a hand full. I have often thought I want to serve my family someday here the way my dad does. I'm getting plenty of practice here with my twenty year old family for the summer:) Thanks dad for your example. I love you and miss you.
