The past couple of days we've spent our time getting set. As the trip leader, I have the responsibility of making large purchases like rent and a stove so we can cook. We have a team member who loves cooking and does an excellent job:) Praise Jesus.
We got to get the ball rolling for our goal of planting a campus ministry today. We met with the Dean of Students at the University. We will be making a proposal of how we'd like to be involved with the university. Please pray the proposal will go over well and we will be able to help out and get very involved.
We also met with another person who works at the university and would like for us to teach about spiritual things. We are supposed to meet with him tomorrow to make plans.
God took care of us today by sending a person to help get us to City Hall. The 2 Filipino ministers down her take awesome care of us! We also have a generous missionary who is letting us call home and use their internet for free:) They have a Labrador retriever I will get to play with once a week:) Miss you! Good night.
